The previously announced compilation movie, “Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATTACK” (Japanese Name: Shingeki no Kyojin: Kanketsu-hen – The Last Attack) released the brand new key visual and trailer. This compilation movie is the 145-minute re-edit of the previously released special series Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapters (Japanese Name: Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season – Kanketsu-hen). These 2-episode specials concluded the story of Attack On Titan and they are being re-released as a movie.
The official X Account of this anime shared new key visual for this movie and the official YouTube channel of Pony Canyon released the new trailer:
This movie will be released in Japanese Cinemas on November 8, 2024, for 3 weeks only. Bookmark our website for more updates! It was also revealed that this movie will feature the theme song from the 2nd Special episode of Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapters i.e., “Nisennen… Moshiku wa… Nimannen Go no Kimi e” (2000 years… or… To you 20,000 years from now…) which was performed by Linked Horizon.
As Director Yuichiro stated previously, some visuals from the special will be upgraded in this upcoming movie. The original storyboard was made with the idea of making it a single movie and it is finally going to release on 4th November 2024.
About Attack On Titan
Attack on Titan (Japanese Name: Shingeki no Kyojin) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It was serialized from September 2009 to April 2021 in Kodansha’s Monthy Manga Magazine Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. There are a total of 34 Volumes in this manga. This manga is also the best-selling manga of all time. This manga has won the Kodansha Manga Award, the Attilio Micheluzzi Award, and the Harvey Award.
This manga received an anime adaptation by Wit Studio which was released in April 2013. Wit Studio produced 3 Seasons of this anime series in which the second season was released in April 2017. The third season was released in 2 parts, Part 1 of this third season was released in July 2018, and part 2 was released in April 2019. The Fourth and Final Season of this anime is produced by Studio MAPPA. The final season was released in 2 Parts and 2 Specials.
Part 1 of this final season was released in December 2020 and Part 2 of this final season was released in January 2022. The 2 Sequel Specials of 1-1 hour each were premiered on March 2023 and November 2023 respectively. These Specials are also edited as a movie titled Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATTACK which is set to release on 8 November 2024.
