On 14 December 2023, Aniplex Announced that Famous Novel by author Takibi Amamori and Illustrator Imigi Muru named “Toooooo Many Losing Heroines!” (Japanese name: Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!, Synonym: Makein) will be getting a TV anime adaptation. Things are getting serious. There are Toooooo many losing heroines aka Makeine! It’s finally made into an anime. I can’t wait to see the characters play an active role in the town of Toyohashi, where I grew up. This is also thanks to everyone who has supported us and everyone who has been involved! Let’s enjoy Makeine’s youth together with us through this anime, even though he was dumped a lot and cried a lot, but still shines!

There are too many losing heroines! Congratulations on the anime and thank you. Well, I’m happy to finally be able to announce it. Together with Amamori-sensei and the editor in charge, I was able to accompany the anime staff on their Toyohashi location scouting, and we were having a great time making it (I hope someday I can talk about this hilarious incident somewhere lol) . So, please look forward to the next report!

Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! (English name: Toooooo Many Losing Heroines!, Synonym: Makein) is a Japanese light novel series written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Imigi Muru. In July 2021, it started publication under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko imprint. This LN later got the manga adaptation illustrated by Itachi which began serialization on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app in April 2022. An anime adaptation of this series is set to premiere in 2024.
Shogakukan describes the Novel Plot as:

As the background of the class, I, Kazuhiko Nukumizu, witnessed a popular girl—Anna Yanami—getting rejected by another guy.
