The trailer features the ending song for this anime, “Anata wa Kaibutsu” (you are my monster) which will be performed by TOOBOE. The comment has also arrived from TOOBOE:

In creating this song, I read the original work deeply, and when I found out that my current neighbor was not the “real” neighbor I believed he was, I wondered how I would cherish the memories and promises. The more I
tried to understand Yoshiki’s feelings, the more pure, sad and tragic they became, and the song I created, “You Are a Monster,” became a song that gives me forgiveness for the characters.

About The Summer Hikaru Died
The Summer Hikaru Died (Japanese Name: Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Mokumokuren. It was serialized in August 2021 on Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace Up website. Mokumokuren first thought of this series while studying for exams and later began posting drawings of this series on Twitter. From there, the editorial department of Young Ace Up approached Mokumokuren to serialize the manga via the Young Ace Up website. There are a total of 4 Volumes of this series as of December 2023.
This manga is getting an anime adaptation by CygamesPictures which is set to release in the Summer 2025.
