Just in from Aniplex Online Fest 2024, it is announced that Mikami Saka’s Famous Romance manga, “The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity” (Japanese Name: Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) is finally getting a TV Anime Adaptation.
It is also revealed that Studio Cloverworks will animate this anime. This anime is set to release next year 2025. The official X account of this upcoming TV became public and shared the anime adaptation congratulatory visual drawn by the original mangaka Mikami Saka and The official YouTube channel of Aniplex released its first announcement trailer:
The trailer features interactions between the two main characters of this series: Tsumugi Rintaro and Waguri Kaoruko. The trailer looks visually appealing and beautiful, just like the original manga.

About The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity (Japanese Name: Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mikami Saka. It was serialized in October 2021 in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga website and app. As of July 2024, this manga has a total of 13 Volumes.
This manga is also getting an anime adaptation by Cloverworks which is set to release in 2025.
Kodansha USA licensed this manga in English and describes its plot as:
“Chidori High is a boys’ school that takes in the dregs of society with the lowest grades. Next door stands Kikyo Girls’ High, where the wealthy, high-class families send their precious daughters. Chidori second-year Rintaro, who has a fierce face but a gentle heart, is helping at his family’s patisserie when he meets a girl named Kaoruko. The two hit it off right away…but this blissful peace is quickly disturbed when Rintaro discovers that Kaoruko is actually a student at Kikyo. Worse, she doesn’t seem to realize what a huge problem this really is! Will these two be able to forge a path for themselves, and sidestep the traps (metaphorical and literal) laid by their classmates?“
