Fans of The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) are celebrating the manga’s conclusion in a particularly heartwarming way. A special advertisement featuring congratulatory messages from readers has been displayed at Shibuya Station in Tokyo, celebrating the graduation of Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada following the manga’s completion.
Titled “Everyone’s Congratulatory Telegram Advertisement” (Minna no Shukuden Koukoku), the campaign brings together messages submitted by fans through the official The Dangers in My Heart X account in September. The advertisement went on display on November 2 and will remain at the underground second-floor area near the Hachiko ticket gates of Shibuya Station’s Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line until November 8, 2026.
The campaign turns these messages into a collective celebration of the two characters’ journey, with Ichikawa and Yamada appearing together as they reach their graduation.
The Dangers in My Heart Fans Send Graduation Messages to Ichikawa and Yamada
The special advertisement features congratulatory messages submitted by fans during the September campaign, #BokuYabaShukuden.
Designed to resemble cherry blossom petals, the individual messages surround an illustration of Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada standing together as they celebrate their graduation.
Rather than being a conventional promotional advertisement, the campaign gives fans an opportunity to become part of the manga’s farewell through their own messages.
The graduation of Ichikawa and Yamada marks an important moment for readers who have followed their relationship throughout Norio Sakurai’s manga. Having watched the two gradually grow closer, fans now get to celebrate their next chapter alongside them through the special Shibuya Station display.
Special Graduation PV to Premiere on November 6

The celebrations will continue on November 6, the release date of the manga’s final 14th volume.
A special promotional video commemorating the manga’s completion and the characters’ graduation will premiere on YouTube at 12:00 PM JST.
The video will serve as another celebration of the series’ conclusion, giving fans an additional opportunity to look back on Ichikawa and Yamada’s journey.
The Dangers in My Heart Announces Free Manga Reading Campaign
Alongside the graduation advertisement and special video, publisher Akita Shoten is organising a free manga reading campaign through its digital manga platform, Champion Cross.
Beginning November 6 at 11:00 AM JST, the campaign will feature several works by Norio Sakurai and related titles, including:
- The Dangers in My Heart
- The Dangers in My Heart: Love Comedy ga Hajimaranai
- Rororro!
- Mitsudomoe
The campaign will allow readers to revisit Sakurai’s works as the main manga reaches its conclusion.
Final Volume 14 and Spin-Off Volume 2 Release on November 6
November 6 will also see the release of the final 14th volume of The Dangers in My Heart in both regular and special editions.
The special edition will include an additional artbook titled The 12th Middle School Graduation Album, giving fans another commemorative item alongside the final manga volume.
The same day will also see the release of Volume 2 of the official spin-off manga, The Dangers in My Heart: Love Comedy ga Hajimaranai. Written and illustrated by Haika Nanasaka, the spin-off focuses on Ichikawa’s older sister, Kana Ichikawa.
With the final volume, graduation video, fan messages, and additional manga releases arriving together, November 6 is shaping up to be a significant day for fans of the series.
The Shibuya Station advertisement is particularly special because it allows readers to participate directly in the farewell. Instead of simply watching Ichikawa and Yamada graduate, fans have contributed their own messages to celebrate the occasion. Bookmark Otaku Mantra for more anime and manga news and updates!
