On 14 December 2023, the official X account of “Haikyu!” anime series reveals new key visual of it’s upcoming sequal movie “Haikyu!! Movie: Battle of the Garbage Dump” (Japanese Name: Haikyuu!! Movie: Gomisuteba no Kessen) ft. the most anticipated match between Karasuno and Nekoma.

The official X account reveals the brand new key visual for this movie, which shows all 21 members of Karasuno and Nekoma which is anticipating the upcoming Volleyball match which is going to happen in this movie:
As we can see in this key visual, we can see 12 members of Karasuno and 9 members of Nekoma. We can also see the blue sky in background which hints the first meeting between Hinata and Kenma. We can also see the illustrations of Cat and Crow which are drawn at the back of the teams. The catchphrase written in the key visual is translated as “The feast of fate has finally begun!”
Haikyu!! Movie: Battle of the Garbage Dump is set to release in Japan next year on February 16, 2024. Bookmark our website for more awesome updates! As same as the previous seasons, Studio Production IG will animate this Haikyu!! movie.
ANN explain this anime’s plot as:
“Shoyo Hinata began playing volleyball after seeing the “small giants” who played the sport when he was in elementary school. He suffers a crushing defeat in his first and last tournament in middle school at the hands of his rival Tobio Kageyama.
So, Hinata joins Kurasuno High School’s volleyball team, vowing revenge against Kageyama. However, Kageyama is also on Kurasuno’s team. The former rivals form a legendary combo with Hinata’s mobility and Kageyama’s precision ball-handling. Together, they take on the local tournaments and vow to meet Kurasuno’s fated rival school in the nationals.“
