The upcoming sequal of Given Movie is announced as titled “Given: Hiiragi Mix” which will focus to our new character named “Hiiragi Kashima” who is the childhood friend of our main character “Mafuyu”. This movie is going to be the sequal of Previous Given Movie and Series. This movie will release in 2 different parts!
This sequal “Given: Hiiragi Mix” movie will release on January 27, 2024. An offcial key Visual is released for this movie which features Hiiragi Kashima and Genjun Yagi:
Furthermore, it is decided that Hiiragi Kashima and Genjun Yagi will debut as artists in this movie with their band name “syh” which is based on the manga by Natsuki Kizu. Fumiya Imai will play the role of Hiiragi Kashiyama who is also vocalist in this film. Studio Lerche is back for animating this franchise!
Given is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. Since 2013, It serialized in the bimonthly manga magazine Chéri+ and has been collected into 8 volumes by Shinshokan. The series follows a group of 4 students who are an amateur rock band, and the dual romantic relationships among them: between electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and vocalist Mafuyu Sato, and between bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.
The series got an audio drama in 2016, an 11-episode anime series in 2019, an anime film in 2020 and 2024, and a live-action drama in 2021.
This manga is licenced in English By VIZ Media-Animate joint publishing initiative SuBLime in North America and Crunchyroll Streamed it’s anime and movie outside Japan.
