On 20 December 2023, the official X account of the upcoming TV anime “A Condition Called Love” (Japanese Name: Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai, Synonym: I Am Addicted To You) based on the original manga by Morino Megumi Released the 1st trailer from this upcoming series and it is also revealed that this series will air next year on April 2024.

As previously announced, the Animation studio East Fish Studio is in charge of animation in this upcoming anime. Kobayashi Chiaki will be voicing our main character Hananoi Saki and Kana Hanazawa will be voicing our second main character Hinase Hotaru.
Director Makino Tomoe will direct this series on East Fish Studio. Amemiya Hitori will be doing the series composition and will also handle the scripts. Ootera Fumihiko will be the Sound director of this series and yamazo will compose music for this series.
In 2020, This manga got published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing. Kodansha USA Publishing also describes the plot of this manga as:
“Hotaru is a 16-year-old high school first-year who has always been ambivalent about love, preferring instead to have a lively life with her family and friends. So when she sees her schoolmate, Hananoi-kun, sitting in the snow after a messy, public breakup, she thinks nothing of offering to share her umbrella.
