On 24 February 2024, as previously announced, Given series’ recently released movie “Given: Hiiragi Mix” will have 2 parts. The part 2 of this movie is named as “Given: Umi e” (English Translation: Given: To The Sea). This part 2 film is set to release on Fall 2024.

It was announced at the stage greeting for the first part held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. Nakazawa Masatomo (Voice Actor of Nakayama Haruki) was overcome with emotion on stage and said, “I guess I can go to the sea…!“
Shogo Yano (Voice Actor of Mafuyu Sato) said, “The other day, I dared to read the 9th volume of the original work, and it took courage because I have so many fond memories of this work. A new sequel has been announced. I hope you look forward to seeing what kind of work it will become, comparing it to the original work, and letting your imagination run wild.“
“Given” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. It was serialized in 2023 in Chéri+ which is the bimonthly manga magazine. It has a total of 8 volumes by Shinshokan.
It later got an anime adaptation by Studio Lerche and it first aired in 2019 which got the movie sequel “Given: The Movie” in 2020 and also received an OVA titled Given: Uragawa no Sonzai (Given – on the other hand). The sequel movie “Given: Hiiragi Mix” was released in January 2024 and part 2 (sequel) to this film “Given: Umi e” (Given: To The Sea) is announced for Fall 2024.
