About Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling (Japanese Name: Ore dake Level Up na Ken, Korean Name: Na Honjaman Level Up, Synonym: I Level Up Alone) is a South Korean fantasy action web novel written by Chugong. It was later adapted into a webtoon in 2018 with illustrations by the late DUBU of REDICE Studio.
The anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures premiered in January 2024, followed by its second season in 2025. The newly announced Solo Leveling: Beyond The System movie will directly continue the story after Season 2.
The story follows Sung Jinwoo, an E-Rank Hunter known as the weakest hunter of humanity. After surviving a deadly double dungeon, he receives a mysterious power called the System, allowing him to level up infinitely. As Jinwoo grows stronger, he uncovers secrets surrounding monsters, dungeons, and powerful beings from another dimension while becoming humanity’s greatest hope.
