Netflix describes this trailer as: “A race to the top, where your skills are everything. Will Gawain be able to surpass himself?” This trailer features the theme song “gifted” performed by BLUE ENCOUNT. The vocalist and guitarist of BLUE ENCOUNT, Shunichi Tanabe commented about their theme song:
Rising Impact is finally being released after 25 years. I was honored to have the opportunity to sing the theme song for this anime, and I was able to take on the challenge with as much passion as Gawain’s straightforwardness. In this day and age when we ask ourselves daily about our “individuality,” what kind of “gift” do we have? I feel like I was able to write my own answer with “gifted”. I hope this song will be food for your soul.

Rising Impact is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. It was serialized in November 1998 in Shueisha’s Shounen manga magazine Weekly Shounen Jump. There are a total of 17 volumes of this manga.

“In Rising Impact, Gawain Nanaumi is a third-grader with an incredible love for baseball and making the ball really fly. In a chance encounter with a female professional golfer, Kiria Nishino, he learns that golf will allow him to hit a ball further than any other sport.
