On 19 January 2024, the official X account of Disney+ Japan announced that Hitoshi Iwaaki‘s Original Manga “Tanabata No Kuni” (English Name: The Country of Tanabata) is getting a Live-Action drama adaptation exclusively on Disney+ and is set to release in July 2024. Mangaka Hitoshi Iwaaki is also known for his famous Parasyte Manga.
