Nodwin Gaming has recently disclosed its complete acquisition of Comic Con India, with a total transaction value of INR 55 crore. The deal, structured through a combination of cash and share swap, involves founders Jatin Varma and Karan Kalra continuing their roles within Nodwin Gaming.
Established in 2011, Comic Con India organizes diverse festivals across the country, encompassing comics, cosplay, movies, TV shows, merchandise, and gaming. The founders of Comic Con India, Varma, and Kalra, will also become shareholders in Nodwin Gaming by exchanging INR 27.5 crores of their Comic Con India shares.
Comic Con India, having successfully built a distinctive space in India for promoting and celebrating popular culture over the past decade, is now set to embark on a new chapter through its collaboration with Nodwin Gaming.
