According to the recent Shonen Jump Press livestream, the action-shounen manga “My Hero Academia” (Japanese Name: Boku no Hero Academia) by Kohei Horikoshi will reportedly end in the next 5 chapters. This manga will end on the combined issue of Weekly Shounen Jump 36/37 which will be released on 5 August 2024.

I’m Sorry, I missed these last 2 weeks! My schedule has been a bit of a mille-feuille due to various scheduling conflicts! The series is now 5 chapters away from its end.

You may be thinking, “So, we still have 5 more chapters!?” or “Just 5 more chapters left!?“, but in any case, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I have.

5 More chapters to go! With Deku and everyone else! It has been a lot of work, but I was able to draw Deku and his friends for almost 10 Years, Thanks to your continuous support. It was like a dream coming true.

Kohei Horikoshi

This manga was first serialized in July 2014 in Shueisha’s Shounen Manga magazine, Weekly Shounen Jump. It was serialized for 10 Years and will finally end on 5 August 2024.

As of April 2024, this manga has reportedly 40 Volumes. The anime adaptation of this manga by Studio Bones has also been aired since 2016 and is still ongoing. The season 7th of this anime adaptation is ongoing right now and the 4th Movie of this franchise My Hero Academia The Movie 4: You’re Next is set to release in Japanese Cinemas on 2 August 2024
