After the finale episode of TV Anime My Happy Marriage (Japanese Name: Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon, Also Known As Watakon) Season 2, the official X account of this anime has announced that My Happy Marriage is getting a new anime project. This season was released on January 6, 2025. Riria performed the opening theme song, “Shiawase na Yakusoku, ” and Kashitaro Ito performed the ending theme song, “Tsukikage Okuri.”
About My Happy Marriage
My Happy Marriage (Japanese Name: Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) is a Japanese light novel series written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. It was first published online via the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro (Let’s Become a Novelist). It was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo and they are serializing this Light Novel since January 2019 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint. As of March 2025, There is a total of 9 Volumes of this light novel.
This light novel later received a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka. It was serialized in December 2018 in Square Enix’s Gangan Online service. As of July 2024, there is a total of 5 Volumes in this manga adaptation.
This LN later received a live-action movie adaptation which was released in Japanese Cinemas in March 2023. This light novel also received an anime adaptation by Kinema Citrus which was released in July 2023. The second season of this anime series was released in January 2025.
Yen Press licensed this light novel in English and described its plot as:
