The rumors of Lycoris Recoil movie production come to know by the latest tweet by Manga Mogura:
Shunsuke Sugimoto is an employee at A-1 Pictures who is involved in major anime projects like Watokoi: Love is Hard For Otaku, Black Butler: Book of The Circus, Kaguya-sama Love is War, and more.
Recently, he deleted his tweet where he mentioned to a fan about the Lycoris Recoil Brand-New movie which is in production. He encouraged fans to look forward to the film, promising that they will see something interesting:
Although it is not official yet Sugimoto’s tweet on X caused huge chaos of Joy on the whole internet. A-1 Pictures also announced back in February 2023 that Lycoris Recoil’s Brand New Sequel animation project is in production which stated that “Their story … has not ended.” and the sequel of this series may be an Anime Movie. Lycoris Recoil is a Japanese original anime series that was created by Spider Lily and Asaura. It was Animated by A-1 Pictures and aired in July 2022. In February 2023, they announced the sequel animation project about this series.
This Original anime later got the manga adaptation illustrated by Yasunori Bizen. It began serialization in September 2022 in Media Factory’s manga magazine Monthly Comic Flapper. This series later received a spin-off light novel, titled “Lycoris Recoil: Ordinary Days” by Asaura which was published in September 2022 under ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko.
This series also got a stage play adaptation which was performed in January 2023.
