The popular Shonen Manga Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami is finally ending. The official X Account of Jujutsu Kaisen Manga posted the following announcement regarding the end of this manga:
This post clearly says this manga ends in the Next 5 Chapters. The final chapter of this manga is set to release on 30 September 2024. This end was expected this year as Mangaka Gege Akutami commented during last year’s Jump Festa 2023: “This will probably definitely be the last Jump Festa where Jujutsu Kaisen is still in serialization.“
This manga was serialized in Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. After 6 Years of serialization, this manga finally ends on 30th September 2024. As of July 2024, This manga has a total of 27 Volumes. In 2018, Jujutsu Kaisen was sixth on the 5th Next Manga Awards in the Print category. In 2019, the manga was nominated for the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shonen category and also nominated for the 25th annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2021. It won various awards such as the third annual Tsutaya Comic Award in 2019, Mandou Kobayashi Manga Grand Prix 2020.
This manga later got an anime adaptation by Studio MAPPA. This series had 2 seasons and 1 anime film till now. Season 3 of this series is announced in December 2023.
