Mangaka Uoto and Director Kenji Iwaisawa commented about this anime movie adaptation:
I am truly happy that this work will be animated by this production team. What kind of “speed” will the characters, tossed about by “distance,” output through the “time” of a movie, which is different from a manga? I, as one of the viewers, am excited and looking forward to seeing the film.
Uoto
I am very honored to be able to make “Hyakuemu” into a movie! “Running” is a simple word, which is why I feel the difficulty of expressing it every day while giving shape to the image I have arrived at. The animation production is slow but we are progressing step by step, so we hope you will wait for a while until the completion of the film.
Kenji Iwaisawa
This movie is set to release next year 2025. Animation Studio ROCK’N ROLL MOUNTAIN will animate this film. Other additional announcements will be released in the future. Bookmark our website for more updates!
