The upcoming Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime has revealed its first character visuals, giving fans a closer look at three of the legendary warriors who will take center stage in the series.
The newly released visuals spotlight the Assassin, Ronin, and Hunter, alongside a fourth key visual featuring all three characters together.
While an official premiere date has yet to be announced, the anime is still scheduled to release in 2027, as previously confirmed during its original announcement.
First Character Visuals Released
The four newly unveiled key visuals introduce the supernatural warriors from Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the cooperative multiplayer mode inspired by Japanese mythology from Sucker Punch Productions’ hit game.
The visuals feature:
- Assassin Version
- Ronin Version
- Hunter Version
- Group Visual featuring all three characters
More characters are expected to be revealed in the future.
The anime is being produced by Kamikaze Douga, the studio known for its distinctive CG animation style.

About Ghost of Tsushima: Legends
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is an upcoming anime adaptation based on Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the cooperative multiplayer mode of Sucker Punch Productions’ critically acclaimed action game Ghost of Tsushima.
Unlike the main game’s historical story centered on Jin Sakai, Legends is inspired by Japanese folklore and mythology, following legendary warriors as they battle supernatural enemies including demons, spirits, and cursed beings across haunted landscapes.
The anime is being produced by Kamikaze Douga, with Gen Urobuchi overseeing the story composition alongside Satoshi Maejima and Nitroplus. The series is currently scheduled to premiere in 2027.
