Nagpur Anime Club

Nagpur Anime Club (Nac) one of the oldest and most vibrant anime club of India which was formed over a decade ago in 2012 when a bunch of enthusiastic folks decided to start a community where otakus can communicate, collaborate and have fun together and that’s how Nagpur Anime Club was formed.

In present Nagpur Anime Club is family of over 10,000+ anime enthusiast and is still growing. NAC has conducted a huge variety of event over the period of time but their COS-CON event has become the most famous and actively participated event over the year. COS-CON has become an annual event which NAC conducts every year and is a must attend for every anime enjoyer in India

Bangalore Anime Club

Banglore Anime Club (BAC) is the oldest anime club in India formed in 2006. BAC is one of the largest city based anime club with a huge variety of events and contest that they have been conducting over the year. Bangalore Anime Club provides a wide varieties of meetup and hangouts where you get to meet with all the fans of Anime, Manga, Cosplay, J-Games, J-Music, Tokusatsu (live action) and other aspects of Japanese culture!

BAC has conducted a huge number of event over the span of last few months including Suzume no Tojimari special screening, Tensura: Scarlet Bond groupwatch, Japanese Film Festival groupwatch, Japan Habba Animathon, Japan Habba Cosplay contest and many more. BAC also conducts a biweekly meetup session known as Reikai which include fun activities such as new member introduction, anime-manga quizzes, series recommendation and many more

Hyderabad Anime Club

The Hyderabad Anime Club (THAC) situated in Hyderabad, a city known for its biryani and Charminar is the only anime club which has two different generation the old gen and the new gen. The Hyderabad Anime Club was first formed in 2009 which was a private club back then, the club was made public in the year 2014 and then the old gen and the new gen came together to form this club on 11th FEBRUARY 2019.

The Hyderabad Anime club holds regular meetings, screenings, and events where anime enthusiast can socialize and enjoy their favorite anime shows and movies. It also organizes cosplay events, gaming sessions, and workshops on various aspects of Japanese culture, such as language, food, and music. People can participate in discussions and debates on anime-related topics, share their fan art and fan fiction, and explore the latest trends in the anime world.

Guwahati Anime Club

Guwahati Anime Club (GAC) is a decade year old club which was formed on 20th September 2011. The club was first formed as an Facebook group by the founders Mounash and Madhurjya to connect with other anime lovers online. Since then the Guwahati Anime club has grown into a huge community with not being only as a anime club but also as a second home to its community members

Guwahati Anime club has been organizing Casual meet ups every month since formation, with the number of meets surpassing 50, along with meet ups for movies and other otaku/pop culture related events. However the main two annual event of Guwahati Anime club includes an online talent competition called Shōdoun and an offline cultural event called Winter-Tide which are held annually during summer and winter respectively.

Coimbatore Anime Club

Coimbatore Anime Club was formed on 01 September 2014 and is a club based in Coimbatore with one of the most active communities in India. Coimbatore anime club has been growing ever since it was formed and is a place for fans of Anime, Manga, Cosplay, J-Games, J-Music, Tokusatsu, or other aspects of Japanese Pop-Culture in Coimbatore

Coimbatore anime club has mastered the art of organizing meet-ups and organizes movie meet-ups twice or thrice a year which attracts a lot of anime lovers.

Anime Fan Club Patna (Bihar Anime Club)

Anime Fan Club Patna also known as Bihar Anime Club was formed on 11th October 2019. It is a community for anime fans in Patna, Bihar. Anime Fan Club Patna is a group of fervent otakus who adore everything about anime, from the latest shows to the classics. Anime Fan Club Patna also has a lively online community where one can discuss anime, share fan art, cosplay, and make new friends.

Anime Fan club Patna organizes a variety of events throughout the year, including movie screenings, meetups, and online competitions. Online competition includes anime quiz sessions , AMV competition, anime ART competition and many more such events.

UP Anime Club

Up anime club formed on 21 July 2020 by Tushar is one of the biggest online presence in India. Up anime club is a huge community of 2000+ people and is growing forward day by day. UP Anime Club used to conduct a lot of online events during the lockdown period including various events such as Hindi cover singing, anime quizzes , fan dub contest and many more

Along with onine events and meetups now UP Anime club has become more focused on offline meet-ups and has done multiple meet-ups in the last few months in multiple different cities of Uttarpradesh.

No Solo Tribe

With one of the most unique names out there No Solo tribe has been formed only a year ago and has been growing rapidly since then, No Solo Tribe was formed on 8 October 2022 . It is a community that brings the most creative minds together to celebrate the massive culture of anime and make people enjoy the culture in unison. Apart from anime No Solo has also been doing activities for Kpop and Gaming fans.

No Solo has been doing monthly meetups, quarterly events, multiple online contests throughout the year they also have some special events such as Cos-Carnival which is a cosplay based event and No Solo has also done K-pop events in Collab with PopSugar.

Anime community of Bengal

The Anime community of Bengal was formed by Ankit on 21 March 2020 and is based in Kolkata. The Anime community of Bengal has four different groups 1 for toxic people 1 for non toxic people 1 for hentai stuff and 1 for junk posting..all connected with a whatsapp community so members can share and discuss anything they are interested in..

The Anime community of Bengal usually conducts a lot of events but the major events conducted by the club Kolkata Comics Karnival which is currently kolkata’s biggest event and the event takes place twice every year and is a must visit event for all the otakus in all over India

Chennai Anime Club

Chennai Anime Club (CAC) was formed by four college students who met through online forums. This four student cam together can created CAC on 4th August 2018. Now Chennai has become a community of over 2000+ members and is still growing. CAC is not just a clubfor anime fans but also a club that supports the various interests of its members, from studying Japanese to gaming, cosplaying, and even chess.

CAC has been organizing a lot of casual meet ups and movie screening but one of their man highlights are the seasonal events that they organize. This events include such as Inkfest52—a year-long event that gives the members weekly prompts to center their illustrations and other seasonal events like November LitPunch and CAC Melody Months.

Delhi Anime Club

Delhi Anime Club is a community of anime lovers based in Delhi NCR, India which started as Facebook group and became a properly structured and formed club in 2020. Delhi Anime Club has been bringing anime and manga fans together since they were formed

Delhi anime club has been organising meetups, screenings, and events for fans to come together and share their love for Anime ,Manga with both offline and online activities like art competition, AMV contest , music performances , Open Mic sessions etc. The club also provides a space for members to connect, discuss their favorite anime, and stay updated on the latest releases.

Goa Anime Group

A group of 10 Otakus created a GAG ????, Oh!! sorry sorry not that gag but this GAG-Goa Anime Group in November 2019. It has now developed into a vibrant community with more than 100 active members. GAG, an anime club in Goa, India, brings together fans of Japanese animation and culture. The club creates a forum for participants to interact, talk about, suggest, and plan events, promoting a sense of NAKAMATACHI among like-minded anime enthusiasts.

The Goa Anime Group oraganizes few seasonally get together/monthly picnics and planning to keep other fun events. One of the main aim of Goa Anime group is to oraganize Goa’s first COMICFEST for the anime and manga enthusiast in Goa.

Bong Anime

Bong Anime which previously started as an YouTube channel and was formed in June 2020 has now become an huge anime community based in Kolkata India. Bong Anime which was a small YouTube channel now has an anime community of 1000+ members and is still growing.

Bong Anime has done a lot of events and meetup in Kolkata including their special meetup called ANIMEET and cosplay themed events called Halloween event.

House of Bengali Otakus

The House of Bengali Otaku or HBO has been only formed a year ago on 4th April 2022 and has become a huge community of 2000 plus members.

HBO or House of Bengali Otakus has been organizing monthly and annual meetups and events and one of their major highlight is The HBO versary event which was an online event including cosplay, art and many more competition

Assam Senpai Society

Assam Senpai Society started on 9th July 2020 is a vibrant community uniting anime and manga fans from Assam and beyond!. One of the biggest achievement of Assam Senpai Society as a community is that they have been able to do free screenings. Fun fact Assam Senpai Society is also the only community we found on Linkedin and they also provide Internships or you can say WeebternShip

Assam Senpai society celebrate every things pop culture, Geeking out with fellow enthusiasts, experience thrilling events like art showcases, gaming sessions, and mind-blowing anime extravaganzas and many more.

Assam Senpai Society also praised us by saying:

Odisha Anime club

Odisha Anime club was started on Feb 2020 during the lock down. Initially Odisha Anime club was started to help peoples to overcome their boredom and depression of lockdown by recommending quality anime to the pepole and also to spread awareness of greatness of anime among people.

Being the only Anime club In Odisha, Odisha Anime club has successfully done multiple evets. The Odisha anime club conducts Regular chill chat and quiz events on their discord server , movie meetups and many more. The biggest Highlight event of Odisha Anime club is “AniMay” Whihc was there first non theatrical release event conduct along with @funhub.odisha where they did private screening, quizzes, games and cosplay event

Anime Club Ranchi

Anime club Ranchi is an anime club based in Ranchi(Jharkhand) which was formed on 2 Feb 2020. Anime club Ranchi has now grown into a huge community of 1900+ members bringing the weebs of Ranchi together. Anime Club ranchi also Collaborates with local vendors related to anime and help them reach more weebs like us Truly a “VOCAL FOR LOCAL”

Anime Club Ranchi has been organizing Regular online events/contests like Art, Music, Cosplay, Dubbing, AMV and quizes.

Pune Anime Group

Pune Anime Group which was started on 8th February 2015 is a vibrant local community nestled in the heart of Pune, India. Devoted to all things anime, Pune Anime group is a sanctuary for 1000+ passionate otakus and weeb alike.

Pune Anime Group has been conducting meetups from a long time, where people gather to share their love for anime, engaging in spirited discussions, and immersing themselves in a collective celebration of this beloved art form.

Nagaland Anime Junkies: A community formed by few anime lovers with the aspiration to bring and unite all who loves anime and manga. NAJ-Cosfest, is an annual cosplay event held every year in the month of June-July at Kohima, Nagaland, India. The two-day event is one of the biggest cosplay festivals in North East India.

Bhopal Anime Club: A small group of people trying to find like minded people who watch anime and geek out with them… also watch anime movies in theaters….and Spreading anime and j pop culture i Bhopal

Mumbai Anime Corps: formed in 2022 MAC is Anime Community based in Mumbai. Updates on Japanese events taking place in Mumbai. Hosts events for weebs / otakus in Mumbai.

Culture Junction: with the tag line Experiencing, Exploring and Expanding the anime culture and community in India, Culture Junction has been one of the most recent club to be formed.

AnimeMitraMandal : formed on 16th June 2020 Anime Mitra Mandal is a Maharashtrian Anime Community

Rajashthan Anime Club: RJAC was made back in 2014 and were one of the most active clubs back in 2014 and 2015. Rajasthan anime Club actively hosted plenty of offline and online events which includes Guildsystem with India Anime Club. They were doing events like Otamusing where they interviewed people who are doing great in the field of Anime in India. RJAC was inactive during 2018-2022 but Rajasthan anime club is active again and hoping to contribute a lot more to the Indian anime community.

Tomodachi Club Mumbai : A club dedicated to celebrating the best in manga, anime, comics, and more!

Jalgaon Anime Club : Started on 19 April 2023 Jalgaon Anime Club is one of the youngest anime club which has been successfully doing online events. There latest event was an art competition which got tremendous response from the audience now the are planning on Anime story writing competition which will be coming soon so don’t forget to follow them
