On 5 March 2024, The official X account of the upcoming TV Anime “Date A Live V” (Date A Live Fifth Season) revealed that the fifth season of Date A Live will be released on 10 April 2024.

Like Season 4, Animation Studio Geek Toys will also animate the fifth season of Date A Live. Voice-acting cast and Staff members from season 4 will also return for this fifth season.
The additional voice-acting cast also announced which revealed that Aya Endo will be voicing Miyo Takamiya who has a connection to Shido’s past.

Date A Live is a Japanese Light Novel series written by Tachibana Koushi and Illustrated by Tsunako. It was serialized and published in March 2011 in Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. A total of 22 Volumes of this Light Novel were published. This light novel also has 3 side stories.
This LN later got a manga adaptation illustrated by Takanashi Ringo. It was serialized in Kadokawa Shouten and Fujimi Shobo in Monthly Shōnen Ace and Monthly Dragon Age but later got discontinued after 5 chapters.
This LN later got an anime adaptation animated by AIC Plus+ in April 2013. This anime later got season 2 animated by Production IMS in April 2014. This anime series later received an original film Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement which was released in August 2015. The anime series later got a third season animated by J.C.Staff in January 2019. Then it received a fourth season animated by Geek Toys in April 2022. The fifth season of this anime by Geek Toys is set to premiere in April 2024.
