Congratulations on the decision to make a second season of the Roshidere anime! And Thank you!

Thanks to the support of all the fans, the content of the original Roshi Dere from volume 4 onwards will be adapted into an anime! This is great! What makes me so happy is that volume 4 is about summer vacation!

The heroines are dressed lighter than usual and there are lots of events! And after summer vacation… a dream? Wait, what will happen in the anime…?

ABOUT ALYA SOMETIMES HIDES HER FEELINGS IN RUSSIAN

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Japanese name: Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san), also known as “Roshidere” is a Japanese light novel series written by Sun Sun, Sun and illustrated by Momoco. It was first published online novel publishing website “Shosetsuka ni Naro” (Let’s Become a Novelist) as two short stories from May 6 to May 27, 2020. It was acquired by Kadokawa Shoten afterward. They published seven volumes and a short story volume since February 2021.

This Light Novel got a manga adaptation by Saho Tenamachi later and began serialization online on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app in October 2022. This Novel’s anime adaptation produced by Doga Kobo has been announced for April 2024.

Yen Press licensed this manga in English and describes its plot as:

Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is Seiren Private Academy’s “solitary princess.” She’s a half-Russian beauty with silver hair, at the top of her class, student council accountant, and…completely unapproachable. For some reason, she’s also taken on the responsibility of reprimanding the slacker who sits next to her in class. Masachika Kuze is constantly frustrating her by falling asleep, forgetting his textbooks, and just being an overall unexemplary student. Or at least, that’s how it looks from the outside.

She may put on a tough act, but she doesn’t mind Masachika as much as others would think. She even lets him call her by her nickname, Alya. Anyone hearing the comments she mutters in Russian under her breath might know how she really feels, but since none of her classmates understand the language, she’s free to say whatever she likes! Except…there is one person who knows what she’s saying. Masachika eavesdrops on her embarrassing revelations, pretending to be clueless, all the while wondering what her flirtatious comments actually mean!
