Animation Digital Network (ADN) has apologized after mistakenly posting an unconfirmed release window for Dandadan Season 3, briefly stating that the anime would premiere in January 2027 before deleting the announcement.
The French anime streaming service later clarified that the information was published in error and that no official release date has been announced for the upcoming season.

Following the deleted post, ADN issued a public apology acknowledging the mistake.
“In a post we shared yesterday, we said that DAN DA DAN Season 3 would be released in January 2027.”
“This was an oversight on my part, as there is currently no official release date for Season 3.”
“We apologize for the incorrect information, and thank you for your continued support every day.”
The original post has since been removed from the platform.
While the deleted post quickly spread across social media, ADN’s clarification confirms that January 2027 should not be considered an official release window.
At the time of writing, neither the anime’s production committee nor any official Japanese accounts have announced when Dandadan Season 3 will premiere.
It remains unclear whether the January 2027 date was placeholder information, an internal estimate, or simply a publishing error.
Fans will have to wait for an official announcement from the series’ Japanese production team before any release date can be confirmed.

About Dandadan
Dandadan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ app and website in April 2021 and is still ongoing. It has a total of 13 volumes as of January 2024.
This manga received an anime adaptation produced by Science Saru and was released in October 2024. This anime also received a second season on July 2025. The third season of this anime adaptation is officially announced 2027.
Viz Media publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story:
“A nerd must fight powerful spirits and aliens all vying for the secret power of his “family jewel,” so who better to fight alongside him than his high school crush and a spirit granny?!
Momo Ayase and Okarun are on opposite sides of the paranormal spectrum regarding what they’ll believe in and what they won’t. Their quest to prove each other wrong leads them down a path of secret crushes and paranormal battles they’ll have to participate in to believe!
Momo Ayase strikes up an unusual friendship with her school’s UFO fanatic, whom she nicknames “Okarun” because he has a name that is not to be said aloud. While Momo believes in spirits, she thinks aliens are nothing but nonsense. Her new friend, meanwhile, thinks the exact opposite. To settle matters, the two set out to prove each other wrong—Momo to a UFO hotspot and Okarun to a haunted tunnel! What unfolds next is a beautiful story of young love…and oddly horny aliens and spirits?“
