It is revealed that the 31st 2D film and the 32nd Overall film of the Shin-chan franchise, “Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary” (Japanese Name: Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Movie: Ora-tachi no Kyoryu Nikki) will be released on Blu-Ray & DVD on February 26, 2025. The Blu-ray and DVD will include bonus features such as a non-credit opening (clay animation), a non-credit ending, and a setting materials collection (still images). Also included is an 8-page commentary booklet.
The Blu-Ray cost is 5,280 yen (including tax) and the DVD cost is 4,180 yen (including tax). The total runtime of this Blu-Ray and DVD is 115 minutes (approx. 109 minutes of main content + approx. 6 minutes of bonus footage).
The theme song for this movie “Omoide o Kakenukete” (Run Past Your Memories) was performed by My Hair is Bad.
Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary” (Japanese Name: Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Movie: Ora-tachi no Kyoryu Nikki) has grossed 2.63 billion yen in Japan which is also the the highest box office revenue of the series.

About Crayon Shin-chan
Crayon Shin-chan (Japanese name: Kureyon Shin-chan), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. It made its first appearance in 1990 in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which was published by Futabasha. Due to the sudden death of author Yoshito Usui, the manga in its original form ended on September 11, 2009. A new manga began in the summer of 2010 and was created by members of Usui’s team.
This manga later got an anime adaptation which began airing on TV Asahi in 1992 and is still ongoing on several television networks worldwide and has over 1000 episodes. The show has been dubbed in 30 languages which aired in 45 countries.
