On 14 September 2024, the TV anime Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary get ended. After the finale of this anime, it is announced that it is renewed for a second season. The official Youtube channel of TV Asahi Animation released the season 2 announcement PV And the official X account shared 2 story logos which are being adapted in season 2:
The story logo reveals that season 2 will adapt 2 stories from the original Novel: “Autumn Limited Chestnut Kinton Incident” and “Winter Limited Bonbon Chocolat Incident”! It is also reveled that Season 2 of Shoshimin will be released in April 2025.

About Shoshimin
Shoshimin (English Name: How To Become Ordinary) is a Novel Series written by Honobu Yonezawa. This anime adaptation will adapt the Shunki Gentei Ichigo Tart Jiken (The Case of the Springtime Limited-Edition Strawberry Tart) and Kaki Gentei Tropical Parfait Jiken (The Case of the Summertime Limited-Edition Tropical Parfait) novels. In December 2004, Tokyo Sogensha published Shunki Gentei Ichigo Tart Jiken and in April 2006, They published Kaki Gentei Tropical Parfait Jiken. This novel series also includes the two Shuki Gentei Kuri Kinton Jiken books and the Paris Macaron no Nazo book, as well as other non-compiled stories.
