Already adapted as a two-part feature anime film,“ Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction” the original manga by Inio Asano is to be made available worldwide as an animated TV series on Crunchyroll later this week.
The two-part feature film, distributed by Gaga Corp., has only been released in Japan – part one debuted in Japan on March 22, 2024, while part two was originally scheduled for April 19, 2024, but got delayed to May 24, 2024.
The film content, complemented by new footage not seen in the theatrical features, will be screened as an 18-part TV series. Starting from May 23, episodes will be uploaded every Thursday evening Los Angeles time (or Friday, May 24, Japan time).

Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction is a Japanese manga series drawn and written by “Inio Asano”. This manga was published in Shogakukan’s youth comics magazine “Big Comic Spirits” from April 2014 to February 2022 and has been compiled into 12 volumes. The story is about two high school girls struggling with normal life after Alien Spaceship Descends in Japan. This story focuses on human nature, dialogue, growing up, and life.
As of March 2022, this manga has sold over 3 Million Copies. This manga won the category of the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2021 and won the Excellence Award at the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2022.
