The upcoming TV anime Devils’ Crest (originally titled Demons’ Crest in Japan), the latest work from Sword Art Online and Accel World creator Reki Kawahara, has unveiled its first trailer, key visual, main cast, opening theme, and premiere date.
The anime is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on November 6, 2026, with Production I.G handling the animation.
The newly released trailer also previews the opening theme song “Shinka” (Evolution) performed by Ado.
First Trailer Gives a Look at the Game That Becomes Reality
The trailer introduces the anime’s tagline:
“Clear the game, and then log out. That was the plan.”
The story follows sixth-grader Yuuma Ashihara and his twin sister Sawa, who begin playing Actual Magic, a revolutionary VR MMORPG. However, the game suddenly starts merging with reality, trapping players in a terrifying situation where monsters begin appearing in the real world and death becomes very real.
As chaos spreads, Yuuma encounters his classmate Sumika, who has horrifyingly transformed into one of the game’s monsters, setting the stage for a battle where the boundaries between the virtual world and reality completely disappear.

Opening Theme Performed by Ado
The opening theme, “Shinka” (Evolution), will be performed by Ado, with the song written by Vocaloid producer YurryCanon.
Commenting on the announcement, Ado said:
