The previously announced next-generation flagship title from Weekly Shonen Jump, “Kagurabachi” (Original Author: Takeru Hokazono) has officially revealed the first part of its Global Premiere Screenings at four major anime conventions around the world!
Ahead of the anime’s official broadcast in April 2027, the highly anticipated “Kagurabachi” Anime
World Tour will feature exclusive preview screenings of the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 at different anime conventions.
Additionally, some of the events will host special panel sessions featuring voice actor Taihi Kimura as Chihiro Rokuhira, editor/ cross-media producer of “Kagurabachi” manga, and “Kagurabachi” anime producers. These talk sessions will dive deep into the behind-the-scenes production and the creators’ immense
passion for the series.

About Kagurabachi
Kagurabachi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono. It is serialized in September 2023 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. As of May 2026, this manga has a total of 11 Volumes. By April 2026, the manga had over 4 million copies in circulation. In 2024, the series won the 10th Next Manga Award in the print category.
This manga is recieving an anime adaptaion by Studio Cypic (Formerly CygamesPictures). This anime adaptation is set to release in April 2027. Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing this anime with the character designs by Keigo Sasaki.
Shochiku explains the story of this anime:
