The TV Anime “Oshi no Ko” (English name: My Star, Also Known As: Mother And Children) anime, based on the original manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, released a mid-season key visual and a brand new trailer for its upcoming Season 3.
As previously announced, Oshi No Ko season 3 will release in 14 January 2026 on TOKYO MX and over 30 other stations nationwide! Hidive will reportedly not stream this anime; instead, Crunchyroll will be the streaming service.
The official X account released the mid-season key visual, and the official YouTube channel of Oshi No Ko revealed the new trailer:
As featured in trailer, the opening song “Test Me” will be performed by CHANMINA. natori will perform the ending theme titled “Serenade“.

It is also revealed that Oshi No Ko will get advanced screening in Japan ahead of the actual release. On December 29, 2025, the first episode of Oshi No Ko will screen in Japanese Cinemas in advance, and an event featuring the main cast will be held! The event will also be broadcast live to cinemas nationwide. New information about the third season is also scheduled to be released during this event.

About Oshi No Ko
Oshi no Ko is a Japanese Manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. They launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is releasing the manga in English digitally.
This manga received an anime adaptation in April 2024, produced by Doga Kobo. Season 2 of this anime series was released in July 2024. Season 3 of this anime series is announced for January 2026. This manga also has a live-action film and a live-action drama—the live-action drama was premiered on Prime Video onNovember 28, 2024 and its Live Action Movie was also released on December 20, 2024.
