It is also revealed that Animation Studio WIT STUDIO will animate this remake series. It is also revealed that Yaiba’s Old Anime Voice Actor Minami Takayama will be back to voice Kurogane Yaiba in this remake series. It is also revealed that Iwami Manaka will voice Mine Sayaka and Hosoya Yoshimasa will voice Onimaru Takeshi in this new anime. Comments are also arrived from these three voice actors:

I am Kurogane Yaiba, a samurai!” I never thought I would be able to claim it once again… I can’t help but feel happy (which is written as a miracle)! I am very grateful for the love of all the staff. And now, he is having a fun and joyous training, snoring and snoring. I can’t wait to show you his explosive performance, as if he is about to jump out of the screen!

Minami Takayama

I have watched Gosho Aoyama’s work on TV since I was a child, and at first I couldn’t believe that the day would come when I would be able to act in his world. I am inspired by all the wonderful people and I am able to play the very cute and sometimes cool Sayaka-chan freely every time! I hope that more people will enjoy the world of “YAIBA”, which has been loved ever since!

Iwami Manaka

I am Yoshimasa Hosoya, who will be playing the role of Takeshi Onimaru in the TV anime “Shin Samurai-Den YAIBA”. Onimaru was the only role I was afraid to take the audition because I was afraid that I might fail again when I heard about the second audition at a time when I hadn’t been successful in any auditions I had taken. I also felt that I was the only one who could play the role, and that the work was too big for me. I am really happy to be able to greet everyone with the cast announcement. I would like to enjoy the dubbing so that more people can feel the charm of Onimaru. Thank you very much.

Hosoya Yoshimasa

They also released a whole staff working on this remake project:

“YAIBA” has been adapted into a modern anime under the supervision of Aoyama-sensei, with some changes added, so that both those who already know it and those who don’t can enjoy it together. A powerful team of staff has come together to draw “YAIBA”, which is packed with many different elements. Please look forward to the new “YAIBA”!

Takahiro Hasui

When I was in elementary school, my grandmother gave me an oil paint set, and I didn’t know what to draw, so I copied the cover of my favorite manga, “YAIBA,” volume 21, onto a canvas. Thirty years have passed since then, and now I, a longtime fan, have been given the opportunity to officially draw as a character designer. I couldn’t be more happy and honored to do such a job! I’ll do my best to make it a great piece!

Yoshimichi Kameda

I remember being very happy when I first spoke with the director and he told me, “I want you to think of the music as one of the characters.” I want people to enjoy the music, which has various faces that are not bound by genre, along with the anime, while cherishing the good tempo and speed of the work.

Yutaka Yamada
