To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Shonen Jump+, a brand-new anime adaptation project has been announced that will bring three selected one-shot manga to life. The adaptations will be handled by top-tier animation studios:
WIT STUDIO (Known for Attack on Titan and Spy x Family)
Production I.G (Known for Haikyu and Kaiju No. 8)
CONTRAIL (Known for Tsurubamiiro no Nagiko-tachi)

Each studio will animate one title, with details on which one-shots will be adapted revealed at a later date.
This initiative follows the success of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s “Look Back”, another Jump+ one-shot that was adapted into a film, and reflects the platform’s ongoing effort to spotlight the raw talent and creative energy of one-shot manga.
Jump+ has published over 2,000 one-shots in the past decade, serving as a space for both newcomers aiming to debut and veteran manga artists experimenting with unique stories. This campaign, described by the editorial staff as a way to “refine those glimmers of talent through the craft of top anime creators,” aims to turn those passionate works into compelling anime experiences.
More information will be released soon via the official campaign site and Shonen Jump+ platforms.
