In 2023, a diverse range of anime was broadcasted, released, and streamed, creating memorable experiences for many. Anime! Anime! conducted its annual “Anime! Anime! General Election,” reflecting on 2023 by conducting a reader survey related to voice actors who bring characters to life, and on 29 December 2023 the annual Anime! Anime! The General Election revealed the winners of the “Most Popular Male Voice ActorS” of 2023.
In the “Voice Actor Category,” votes were collected for the “Most Popular Male Voice Actor,” who left a lasting impression by handling numerous characters and appearing in a wide range of media regardless of the anime, and the “Most ‘Supportable’ Voice Actor,” someone fans newly discovered or personally recommended in the past year. Separate voting was conducted for males and females.
The survey was conducted separately for male and female voters, with responses collected from over 3,000 people between November 15th and December 15th. The gender distribution was approximately 35% male and 65% female, with age groups being around 25% for those under 19 and in their 20s, and about 15% for both the 30s and 40s.
