The official X account of TV anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Japanese Name: Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) has finally released the new information related to the 2nd season of this anime. It is revealed that The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 will be released in April 2026. Some staff changes have also been announced. The official YouTube channel of Toho Animation released the new teaser for its second season:
The trailer depicts the continuation of this anime where, at the end of season one, Mahiru and Amane start going out. The animation feels improved from the first season.

About The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Japanese Name: Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) is a japanese light novel series written by Saeki-san and illustrated by Hanekoto, and Kazutake Hazano.
It was originally published as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou (Let’s Become a Novelist). Later, it was released by SB Creative under their GA Bunko label in June 2019. There are a total of 8 Volumes in this series.
This LN Later got a manga adaptation illustrated by Wan Shibata and composed by Suzu Yuki. It was serialised in Square Enix‘s online manga magazine Manga Up! in January 2022. There are a total of 3 Volumes in this manga as of December 2023.
This manga also received an anime adaptation animated by Project No.9, which was released in January 2023. A second season has been announced for April 2025.
Yen Press licensed this manga in English and describes its plot as:
“A HEAVENLY ENCOUNTER! Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades-she’s also drop-dead gorgeous.
