In Anime Japan 2024, brand new key Visuals are released for the upcoming TV anime “Spice And Wolf: Merchant Meets The Wise Wolf” (Japanese Name: Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf). It was also revealed that this series will run for 2 Consecutive Cours. The official X account of this anime shared 2 key visuals of which 1 is the Main Key visual and the other is the Abundant Harvest visual:
The catchphrase of the main key visual translates as: “The Journey of A Merchant and A Wolf will restart from scratch“. It was also revealed that this series will run for 2 consecutive cours.
Spice And Wolf: Merchant Meets The Wise Wolf Anime will be released on April 1, 2024. Bookmark our website for more updates. Animation studio Passione is in charge of this new adaptation of Spice and Wolf. The opening theme song “Tabi no Yukue” will be performed by Hana Hope and the Ending theme song “Andante“ will be performed by ClariS.
Sanpei Hijiri and Takahashi Takeo will direct this series. Amada Toshiki and Aoki Kaoru will provide background art in this series. Penkin Kevin will compose music for this series and Inoue Kazuhiro will handle the art direction. Haneda Kouji will provide character designs in this anime. Yoshida Tomohiro will be the sound director and Hayashi Kouji will handle the direction of Photography.
About Spice And Wolf
Spice and Wolf (Japanese Name: Ookami to Koushinryou) is a Japanese light novel series written by Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Ju Ayakura. This novel was serialized in February 2006 in ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. A total of 26 Novels were published in this series. ASCII Media Works also published five volumes of this novel’s spin-off series titled Wolf and Parchment in September 2016.
This light novel later received a manga adaptation illustrated by Keito Koume. It was serialized in November 2007 in ASCII Media Works’ Seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh.
This Light Novel also received an anime adaptation produced by Imagin in January 2008. It also released an OVA episode in May 2008. It later got the second OVA which was released in April 2009. This anime series received a second season titled Spice and Wolf II which was released in July 2009. This Light Novel is also receiving a brand new anime series produced by Passione titled “Spice And Wolf: Merchant Meets The Wise Wolf” which will release on April 1, 2024.
