Even though produced in the mid 90’s it has amazing animation and direction with all visuals being used to add to the story’s theme.Evangelion had an original anime in the 90’s then it had an end movie, but after a while it got rebooted often fans can be confused regarding the watch order so here we discuss the different parts of the anime and how to watch them in order.

Release Order:

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995-96)(26 episodes):

The original series of Evangelion produced by Gainax, was well renowned around the first for its production but it had a controversial ending with ep 25 and 26 which received a large amount of fan criticism. One can skip these two episodes if he wants but it’s always a debate among the fanbase, nevertheless, it’s just a personal opinion to watch it get the feel.

2. Death & Rebirth (1997-98):

Death is a sort of recap of episodes 1-24 but in a more director’s cut version with some bonus scenes animated after the first broadcast.Rebirth Contains new scenes which is 1/3 the part of End of Evangelion, which came later. This can be skipped as these are again covered at the end movie.
