On 29 February 2024, the official trailer of “Kaiju No. 8” (Japanese Name: Kaijuu 8-gou) is released. Along with the trailer, they revealed Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic as Theme song artists. It is also revealed that this anime will be released on 13 April 2024.

The Theme song features Theme songs: the Opening Song “Abyss” is performed by British Singer YUNGBLUD and the Ending Song “Nobody” is performed by American pop-rock group OneRepublic.

When I got the idea, I immediately booked a studio in Tokyo and wrote the song while reading the story of Kaiju No. 8. Around spring 2023, we had a meeting with the “Kaiju No. 8” team and had them show us some of the footage and storyboards. From there, we analyzed the work and characters and thought about what kind of sounds we would need. I wanted this song to convey a sense of elation, fun, and moments of brilliance. I was in Japan for work in November 2023, so I wrote the lyrics during that time. This song is inspired by Japan as much as possible.
Animation Studio Production IG is in charge for animation for Kaiju No. 8 anime and Studio Khara will be the in charge for Kaiju designs and artwork for this anime.

Director Kamiya Tomomi and Miya Shigeyuki will direct this series in Production IG. Ookouchi Ichirou will be handling the scrips and will do the series composition. Nishio Tetsuya will be the chief animation director and will handle the character designs too for this anime. Bandou Yuuta will compose the music for this anime.
Kaiju No. 8 (Japanese Name: Kaijuu 8-gou) manga is written and illustrated by Matsumoto Naoya. This manga was first launched in July 2020 on Shueisha’s Jump + Website. This manga was printed and shipped for the first time in December 2020. By March 2023, this manga has released 11 Volumes and these 11 Volumes are in serialization.
This manga was later released in English, licensed by Viz Media in North America. Viz Media describes this manga as:
