During the Anime Expo Panel of Production I.G x WIT x Signal.MD, Production I.G revealed the English dub cast of the upcoming Anime Uzumaki which is based on the original anime by Junji Ito.
This cast includes:
Abby Trott as Kirie Goshima
Robbie Daymond as Shuichi Saito
Cristina Vee as Azami Kurotani
Doug Stone as Kirie’s father
Aaron LaPlante as Shuichi’s father
Mona Marshall as Shuichi’s mother
Max Mittelman as Katayama
According to the latest interview by Japan Times, Junji Ito has approved all 4 episodes of this anime and this anime is set to release later this year 2024.
About Uzumaki
Uzumaki is a Japanese horror manga written and illustrated by Junji Ito. It was serialized from 1998 to 1999 in Shogakukan’s weekly seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits. There are a total of three volumes of this manga.
This manga later received the 4-episode anime adaptation animated by Drive and co-produced by Production I.G USA and Adult Swim which is set to release in 2024.
