The official streaming service Netflix reveals the brand new trailer of the upcoming special “Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation” which is based on Eiichiro Oda’s one-shot manga on their streaming platform which is set to release on January 21, 2024.

Sunghoo Park will direct the anime at his Animation Studio E&H production and will animate this one-shot. Takashi Kojima will handle the character designs for this anime. Tsutsumi Hiroaki will compose music for this special.
“Monsters” was originally published in Eiichiro Oda’s “Wanted!” collection in 1998. The story follows the adventures of Ryuma, a young man who is cursed to transform into a monster every full moon. Ryuma must find a way to break the curse before it’s too late. This character later appeared in One Piece anime too.
Netflix Describes its plot as:
“A samurai’s path leads him to a young waitress whose hometown was destroyed by dragons. He Doesn’t want any problems — but it finds them anyway“
