Demon Slayer Infinity Castle First Movie Is Set To Hit Japanese Cinemas On July 18, 2025

The Promotion reel and brand-new key visual have been released for the Part 1 film of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” (Japanese Name: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jyo-Hen or Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jou-Hen). This movie is part of a trilogy, and part 1 of this trilogy is set to release in Japanese Cinemas on July 18, 2025. This trilogy will adapt the last 2 arcs of the manga. This catchphrase on the key visual translates as “Ignite the final battle….“. The Advance tickets in the form of MoviTicke Cards, featuring the fully assembled key visual above, will go on sale on March 7. Then, on April 4, seven more MoviTicke Cards (split visuals of characters in the key visual) will go on sale. A special set of all eight MoviTicke Cards in a matted frame will also go on sale on April 4.

Between April 4 and July 3, the previous 12 films (including compilations) will return to japanese cinemas for limited-time runs. The compilation films will run in 33 Cinemas for one week each, while the 4K-converted edition of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Mugen Train movie will play in cinemas from May 9 to June 12 in 423 theaters (including some with IMAX, remixed Dolby Atmos, remixed Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and MX4D screenings). These screenings will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the new trilogy.

Demon Slayer (Japanese Name: Kimetsu no Yaiba) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in February 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. There is a total of 23 Volumes in this manga. This manga had over 150 million copies in circulation by February 2021, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. Also, it was the best-selling manga in 2019 and 2020.

This manga received an anime adaptation by ufotable, which was released in April 2019. There are a total of 4 Seasons, 1 Sequel Movie, and 2 compilation movies of this anime series. After the completion of 4th season of this anime series, it was revealed that the final arc of its manga, “Infinity Castle Arc” will be adapted as a trilogy movie. Part 1 of this trilogy, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, will be released in Japanese Cinemas on July 18, 2025.
