The official X account of the TV anime “Blue Lock” revealed that the spin-off movie “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” will be released on Blu-Ray & DVD in Japan on October 30, 2024. As previously announced, this film was released on April 19, 2024.
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi is based on the original manga by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Sannomiya Kouta.
The official YouTube channel of Emotion Label Channel released the Blu Ray & DVD PV and the official X account shared the Blu-Ray Visual:
The Special Edition Blu-Ray will cost 8,800 Yen (Including Taxes) and the DVD will cost 5,280 yen (Including Taxes), The detailed information about audio and subtitles is not given yet. But it is revealed that blu ray will contain a 36-page Booklet, Picture drama titled ANOTHER Blue Lock -EPISODE Harajuku- and ANOTHER Blue Lock -EPISODE Omotesando-, Special Edition Broadcast Room footage, anime “Additional Time!” of Weeks 1-4, and PV and CM collection.
There is also a Special limited edition which will cost 12,100 yen (Including Taxes). It will contain a Diorama-style acrylic stand featuring original illustrations & film-style clear card featuring stills, an A4 clear file with an original illustration, an Acrylic stand featuring original illustration, a Set of 3 mini photos with newly drawn illustrations & 2 can badges & A4 clear file set, a F3 character fine board with original illustration, an Acrylic key chain, Rakuten Books, and Acrylic stand with original illustration & gold foil stamped illustration card. About Blue Lock
Blue Lock is a Japanese manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It was serialized in August 2018 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine. As of December 2023, this manga has a total of 27 Volumes. This manga also won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shounen category.
This manga later got a spin-off titled “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” which focuses on Seishiro Nagi written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Illustrated by Sannomiya Kouta. It began serialization in June 2022 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine.
This manga later got an anime adaptation by eightbit which aired in October 2022. The spin-off manga “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” got the anime movie adaptation released on 19 April 2024. The second season of this anime is also announced for October 2024.
