In Anime Japan 2024, the brand new trailer of the upcoming TV Anime “Blue Box” (Japanese Name: Ao no Hako) is released. They also revealed the additional castings for this anime. It is also revealed that this anime is set to release in October 2024. The official YouTube channel of TMS Anime Official released a brand new PV of this anime:

Animation Studio Telecom Animation Film is animating this anime. The previously announced cast includes Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata, Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano, and Akari Kito as Hina Chono. The additional voice-acting casts are:

Kengo Haryu by Yuma Uchida

The series focuses on Taiki Inomata, a student at Eimei Junior and Senior High who is a boys’ badminton team member. Every morning, he trains alongside his upperclasswoman and fellow crush Chinatsu Kano, who is on the girls’ basketball team. However, Chinatsu moves in with Taiki’s family when her parents leave Japan to work abroad. With Chinatsu now living with him, Taiki aims to slowly develop his relationship with her as they both strive to make it to the national championship with their respective teams

About Blue Box

Blue Box (Japanese name: Ao no Hako) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kouji Miura. Since April 2021, It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump. On August 3, 2020, the first one-shot of Blue Box was released in Weekly Shonen Jump. This manga’s first Volume was released on August 4, 2021. As of October 2023, there are 12 Volumes of this manga series are published.

Blue Box has been licensed in North America for simultaneous publication as it is digitally launched by Viz Media on its Shonen Jump website and in Japan. Shueisha also publishes this series in English for free on the Manga Plus app and website. Viz Media announced that they had licensed the series in print format in February 2022. The first English volume was released on November 1, 2022.
