On Saturday, September 30, 2023, Author and illustrator Hajime Isayama announced a new 18 page Attack on titan manga titled “Attack on Titan Vol. 35”. This new manga volume is set to be released on 30th april 2024 along with an artbook title “shingkei fly” or “Attack on Titan Fly”. The fans have no idea of what the story of this additional volume will be but some speculations are that this new 18 page attack on titan manga volume will focus on answering a lot of unanswered question that were raised by the fan after an unsatisfactory end of the Attack on titan manga.
Some Attack On Titan manga History
Isayama Hajime first debuted the Attack on titan manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in September 2009, where it ran until April 2021 for a total of 34 volumes (now set to be 35 by april 2024). On 9 April 2021, the “Attack on Titan” manga series officially ended with chapter 139. But the final chapter left the manga fans with so many unanswered questions. Many fans were not even satisfied with the way the Manga ended. Because of which, Hajime Isayama decided to add some additional pages to the manga to make the ending satisfactory and acceptable for the fan. this additional pages were released as Vol. 34 of the manga on June 9, 2021 in which, additional 8 pages of new manga are included.
And suddenly on 30 September 2023, A brand new additional 18 page attack on titan manga is announced! Hajime Isayama drawn more 18 pages of the manga titled “Attack on Title Vol.35” will be released along with the artbook titled: “Shingeki FLY”
Attack on Titan Artbook update
Attack on titan new artbook was announced for April 30, 2024. This artbook is titled “Shingeki FLY” or “Attack on Titan Fly” :
This artbook will contain 200 Page Full Color Art Book illustrations by Isayama. The Final Chapter redrawn 57 pages will also released. A special content related to Mikasa’s scarf and Eren’s key will also be showcased in that book. And along with this artbook, 18 pages new Attack on Titan manga will also be released.
Also, in the upcoming Weekly Shonen Magazine Issue 44, Attack on Titan will also have a Color page:
Is this new manga a sequel of Attack on Titan?
There are no reports about this new manga format. It can be whole new manga , a spin-off or continuation of the original. But according to some assumptions, the title says “Attack on Titan Vol. 35” so there is more possibilities of this new manga being a continuation to the final chapter where more unanswered things will be answered.
Also, the final episode of anime “Attack on Titan: The final chapters” will release on November 4 which will conclude the story of Attack on Titan anime and the fans are very hyped about it.
