It’s officially announced that the TV Anime “Ao Ashi” is getting a second season. Ao Ashi was based on the original manga by Yugo Kobayashi. Ao Ashi Season 2 is set to release in 2026. The official X account of this anime released an announcement key visual for season 2 of Ao Ashi:

The key visual features the main character Aoi Ashito, tying the laces on his spikes and looking straight ahead. The studio has changed this time. Season 2 of Ao Ashi will be animated by TMS Entertainment (Dr. Stone, Detective Conan).
More information about this anime’s second season will be revealed in the future!
Ao Ashi Season 1 was released on April 9, 2022. It had a total of 24 episodes. The first opening song(Eps 1-12), “Mushinhakusuu” was performed by [Alexandros], and the second opening song(Eps 13-24), “Presence” was performed by Superfly. The first ending song(Eps 2-12), “Blue Diary” was performed by Rinne, and the second ending song(Eps 13-24), “Color Lily No Koibumi” was performed by Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai.

About Ao Ashi
Ao Ashi is a Japanese soccer manga written and illustrated by Yugo Kobayashi and based on a concept by Ueno Naohiko. This manga was serialized in January 2015 in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine, Weekly Big Comics Spirits. It is revealed that this manga will have a total of 40 Volumes. This manga also won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award for the general category in 2020.
This manga also received an anime adaptation by Production I.G and was released in April 2022. This anime series is also receiving a second season by TMS Entertainment, which will be released in 2026.
