Anitale 2023 Competition is been a thrilling competition. We got so many submissions and some stories are so hard to decide which is best. And by reading amazing stories. We are finally here at our Top 5 Stories written in this competition. Mr. G.KISHAN KANNAN showed that how a fictional story can impact so much and his story “The Last King” potrays this high-school historical drama in a very wounderful way.
THE LAST KING
CHARACTER SKETCH:
HARUKA: He have a natural wavy hair with black in color, he is a coward and afraid to things that comes with a risk. He used confuse in deciding something
KITSURA: He have spiky hair with black in color, he have a spectacle because of his eye problem, unlike haruka he is smart and decide things depending upon situation he excels in science department and he learned swordplay way before he was an teenager
MITSUIE: He have a green hair, he is an airhead who used to understand the situation only after jumping in it but he is brave and smart in swordplay.
ERZA: she have a red hair , he is coolest person comparing these three in both swordplay and personality however she have a foul mouth and only kind to Kitsura, she is also brave and smart like Kitsura and Mitsuie, she is an college student
Both Kitsura and Mitsuie study in banz high school with Haruka
CHAPTER 1
“We will take revenge on you,” king Yoichiru said to Kentaro with a death stare
Kentaro fetched his sword from his sword holder and pierced Yoichiro heart.
“Ring…ring….” Alarm made a sound. “Ah this same weird dream is getting into my nerve nowadays” said by Haruka to himself.
Haruka have a problem of getting weird dream about a king and Kentaro but he do not know who they are.
When Haruka was on the way to school
“Today is the final exam,” Haruka heard this voice from the back. When he turned back, he saw Kitsura.
Both of them gone to school and wrote their exam well and by time 4:30 pm they got out of school to reach their home
Haruka and Kitsura saw Mitsuie. He was covered in blood from his back of the head. They gone near him to check what happened
They saw a strange man near him
“Who are you” Haruka asked the Strange man.
Stranger picked his sword from the holder and dashed near Haruka with aim in Haruka’s heart.
When he got so near Haruka. Kitsura, using his sword, stopped his attack. “Run from here Haruka” said by Kitsura while keeping the stranger busy. Haruka was not able to grasp the situation happening there
The stranger at next move he cut Kitsura left eye and again dashed near Haruka outplayed Kitsura swordplay. Suddenly women from the rooftop of near building jumped from the top and got near stranger head with her sword pointing towards stranger’s head. The stranger deflected the attack by swinging his sword near his head. With off balance she skated near Haruka. “Don’t attack her” stranger heard this note in his brain so he got out of their site by using smoke escape technique.
Haruka was not able to move his hands due to the shock and he lost his mind. “Haruka we need to move out of her quickly” Haruka heard this voice mildly.
She tapped Haruka’s back, with that shot Haruka slowly begin to regain his consciousness from the shock. After that Haruka carried mitsuie and that strange girl carried Kitsura and gone to Haruka’s home.
CHAPTER 2
Both of them reached home with wounded Kitsura and Mitsuie.
“Bring first aid kit,” said by the strange girl.
Haruka brought the kit and they both started to treat the wounded ones. After treating them Haruka asked the strange girl “Who are you”.
“I am Erza” she replied in a anger tone, “how the hell can one do nothing but stand in a fight and forget an important person” said by Erza. “Stop it Erza,” said by Kitsura in a mild tone.
“I think the time as come to re….” Mitsuie was trying to complete the sentence but “Thud” they all heard this sound from the above.
A piece of ceiling have fallen down. They all gathered near the piece of ceiling and stared the top to see what is going on.
“It is a spacecraft” said by Kitsura
Members on the craft form a line of one row and took the guns to fire on them from the open windows through the hole in the ceiling, they had totally 100 windows in the row and they started the firing. Since they had only four katana with two injured members they started to panic. They can’t even move their hands because of the fear which overwhelmed them. The bullets got so near them only distance of 5m was between them.
“Whoosh” they heard a sound of an object getting near them
A shield from short distance saved them from the bullets that neared them.
Everyone on the room felt near death, they turned back to check the direction it came from but they can’t see anything
“Everyone check the craft” said by Haruka
They saw the death of people who fired on them with a stab on their body, while following the row
“Everyone try to check from window 90” said by Haruka
They saw a man with big beard killing the shooters, after killing the 100 members on the row.
That man came flying from the craft, he passed the hole in the ceiling and got hit on floor near everyone in the home
“Hey guys it’s been a while” said by the man to everyone.
CHAPTER 3
The remaining 100 of members came out of the craft to attack the people from the inside along with a man who had a scar on right side of face.
General took the sword from his holder and swing his sword horizontally with the aim in the lower part of the body, but old man moved a step back. While sword moving in the horizontal direction, he changed the direction of the sword by swinging with the aim in the heart. The old man deflected the sword forcefully, due to the force general was not able to hold his sword so his sword went flying beside him
Old man swung his sword two times from left and right direction and made an x mark in general body.
Meanwhile the remaining 100 members took a fast charge into the house.
“The old man is busy handling the big scar man, so I think this is it for us” said by the Kitsura
As we know
Mitsuie was not able to understand the number 100 so he charged forward as single man to fight 100.
“Oh shit, this idiot can’t even understand the situation even now” said by Kitsura.
“I don’t deserve to die, why the hell are they attacking” said by Haruka, and he started crying.
“Haruka don’t tell me you are man” said by Erza and she marched forward with Kitsura to help Mitsuie. Three of them got so near enemy. 10 out of 100 soldiers marched towards them and Mitsuie attacked three of them by striking their head. Kitsura was only able pierce a heart of a soldier but Erza with her beautiful sword dance she took the heads of remaining 6 of them
Usually Kitsura and Mitsuie will be able to fight 10 common soldiers easily but they were not able to because of the injury they got in fight with a strange man.
During this fight
Remaining 90 soldiers surrounded them, during this time Old man was escaping the sword attack from the general and Haruka is just crying in a corner.
“I think this is it Kitsura” said by Mitsuie
“You idiot, now only you were able to understand the situation right” said by Kitsura
While they were talking. Erza took the life of 20 soldiers on her side, the soldiers marched towards them to attack them but Erza took all the soldiers with her sword dance covering all distance.
The fight came to the end
“I think you need to explain. Who you are old man” said by Erza while holding her sword her his neck.
“Yeah the time has come to explain you guys what is happening” said by the old man.
He grabbed a chair near him and he sat down
“Everyone sit down and listen carefully” said by the old man
“I don’t give a shit about enemy, I just need to alive so leave me out of this old man” said by Haruka
“No my lord” said by the old man
“My lord? I am just a common student,” said by Haruka
“I am Kendora, 40 years old, a scientist and friend of King Yoichiro,” said by the old man
“Dad…? Why are you so different, how come your face have so many damage that even I can’t recognize you” said by Kitsura
Everyone on the room was shocked that they dropped their sword from their hand
“Wait… did you say King Yoichiro” said by the Haruka
CHAPTER 4
“I know him, he comes in my dream and tell some prophecy that my people will take revenge but I don’t know why” said by Haruka
“I will come to that. First of all you should know who you are” said by the old man
“You are the son of Yoichiro, Mitsuie is your older brother and Erza is the daughter of current king Kentaro, which means she is your cousin,” said by the old man
“What the shit…. He is kidding me right Mitsuie,” Haruka
asked to Mitsuie
“No you idiot brother” said by Mitsuie
“Then why the hell you guys kept it has secret” Haruka asked to everyone
“Because your shitty brain can’t remember anything that happened!” everyone answered Haruka
“Wait you guys, lord can’t process everything at a time, let me tell all the things from the start”
“Before that I have a question, if Mitsuie is my brother why is he not the heir to the throne” Haruka asked to the old man
“Because you have a black hair and he have a green hair” old man said to Haruka
“I can’t understand” said by Haruka “Hear me out” said by the old man
Now he started to explain things to the lord
He said that
There was an earth in other universe, called earth 909.
Kenjiro was the king of that earth 909 and he have two sons. Older son Kentaro and younger son Yoichrio.
King Kenjiro lost his wife when Yoichiro was 17 and Kentaro was 20. His wife called Meiko died from a disease called chip shippai (shippai- Failure).
A virus called chip eater spreads this disease
People in Earth 909 have a chip in their heart from the birth. People call it as a chip because it looks like a chip but it is a pulmonary trunk in the heart.
Which is so different comparing to the people on the Earth that King Yoichiro ruled.
This chip is a special thing in that Earth that it gives power to the peoples. That chip gives peoples a variety of power depending upon their hair color.
Black hair is the rarest in that Earth that only royal family members will be able to produce due to their blood line and family members with black hair can only become a king in that Earth
After 10 years, Yoichiro decided to check the people’s condition upon chip shippai so he got out of the castle and started his journey to check people’s condition. When Yoichiro gone into Yoichi country he saw, beautiful women called Haruko.
He left the checking work to his crewmates and started to impress her day to day.
After 10 days. Haruko finally accepted to marry him, after marrying him.
Yoichiro revealed his identity and started the journey of checking peoples condition with Haruko
After 3 years, they returned to the royal castle. By that time Kentaro married a women named Hana who is their relative and had a daughter named Erza who is 2 years old
Yoichiro was not allowed in the castle because of his marriage with common women. Because their chance to produce powerful kid or black hair kid was impossible so Yoichiro gave the result of peoples checking and started to live in people’s area with his wife and his child named Mitsuie.
After seeing the results. The kenjiro called Yoichiro to tell him something
Kenjiro said that he found a Planet in other universe and he said that, that planet don’t have chip eater and will be best place for us live because they too have well developed science just like us.
He asked Yoichiro to go that Planet and kill that king because he had the pride of possessing chip and does not want his people to be mixed with that Planet peoples so he asked Yoichiro and later revive things there by using his Earth 909 Science. He also said that he can’t send Kentaro because he possess black hair.
His plan is to call the king from the other Earth and tell him about his fake collaboration to improve both of their planet. After his acceptance, he will send Yoichiro to carry on his role.
CHAPTER 5
Kenjiro asked Yoichiro to disperse in 10 days because he got the acceptance from the king of other Earth
on the day of disperse, Yoichiro kept his sword on his holder and entered the spacecraft with his wife and son.
While travelling. Yoichiro saw a little moment in the luggage he brought. When he opened it, he saw Erza.
Erza had a great respect and inspiration towards Yoichiro. Which she was not able to see in her father so she decided to go along with Yoichiro but the problem is she is just 3 years old. Yoichiro decided to contact Kentaro. Yoichiro turned back to access the space network but unfortunately 3 years old Mitsuie took his two small sword and attacked the space network while Yoichiro turned to check the luggage. Mitsuie attacked it because he found it as interesting and attractive, during this time his wife Haruko was in bathroom
“Yoichiro come look at this” said by Haruko
She showed the results of pregnancy report, which she took in bathroom while Yoichiro was dealing with Erza
Haruko’s results shows that she is pregnant, which made Yoichiro so happy.
With advanced technology. They were able to land on the Earth planet in 10 months
Yoichiro and his family was welcomed by everyone on the Earth except Kendora, who was 35 years old
Kendaro had a doubt about Earth 909 motive so he decided to be careful with Yoichiro
After a time being, Yoichiro had a talk with king.
Kendora heard the conversion by keeping a hidden camera in the meeting to check whether Yoichiro is trying to manipulate the king or not.
After talking to the king, Yoichiro came out of the meeting room and called kendora to talk something in private. They gone into a forest where no technology of the kingdom will not be available because it was an isolated place kept for Kendora scientific experiments and this place is 8 km away from the main kingdom where all people in the Earth live.
The main country have well developed houses in both clouds and underground. They have air vehicles in the clouds for transportation and have tube like elevator in underground to transport people’s vehicles and themselves.
They had an artificial sun for underground people and had ocean in the cloud.
They had an AI, which will get all kind of information from people and give solution to them. This AI will easily detect the criminal in all case. This design of living is made into theory by Kendora’s father and made into particle by Kendora
Kendora is a hell smart person, who drastically changed the Earth in science field. He decided to have a lab apart from the country to avoid dangers while experimenting.
Now to the story
Kendora brought Yoichiro to his lab to speak. Yoichiro said about the task he came for and asked Kendora to create frozen fertilized eggs. Which will allow the next generation to live.
Yoichiro know that his father Kenjiro will come destroy the the country himself in a 3 year if Yoichiro did’t do the task he is assigned so as a precaution he asked the help of Kendora to do so to save the race
Kendora was shocked but he accepted the fact and started developing the fertilized eggs.
After getting home, he came to know that his son Haruka was born. Both Yoichiro and Haruka was happy about that
For next 3 year, Yoichiro developed the country to help the king by introducing some new farming technique that he learned in his planet and he teaches swordplay to Erza and Mitsuie
However Haruka spend the three years crying and playing with his mother
One day Kendora noticed Yoichiro and his wife going to the hidden place in the kingdom. Being exposed by Kendora, Yoichiro said that. A time will come for you to reveal this place to Haruka and Erza.
Suddenly Yoichiro sensed an aircraft approaching the Earth so he asked Kendora to hide the Forest by moving it in underground place and asked him to destroy the connection with the underground and the country and to do the necessary things to save the race through the eggs.
Yoichiro brought his sons and Erza to the lab and asked them to stay over there and he gone into the country
On the very next day kentaro landed on the Earth and fought with Yoichiro
Yoichiro putted a barrier to cover entire country to make Kendora escape, they fought for an hour and finally Kentaro killed Yoichiro. Meanwhile Kendora made the arrangements for the eggs and gone into time machine with his wife and kids while traveling he gave a tablet which will prevent these kids from using their chip power. He gave it to them to avoid getting detected from the Kentaro because a fellow chip user can track another chip user this is also one of the feature that come from using chip power.
Kentaro killed people there because of his pride
For the next 29 years, Kentaro developed the destroyed country by transporting things and people of Earth 909 So he can’t explore the underground
After traveling 15 years advance , Human beings have evolved from the eggs and Kendora spent next 14 years to develop an average science in the forest without getting caught meanwhile 3 years old Haruka turned 17 years old teenager, mitsuie Turned 21 years old, Kitsura turned 17 years and Erza turned 21. Everyone was able to remember Yoichiro but Haruka was not able to because he got a hurt in his head while getting into time machine
The mother who raised Haruka was Kendora’s wife meanwhile Mitsuie, Erza and Kitsura lived alone from their small age.
One day the tablet they took came worn out as a result, Kentaro send his companion see what happens. He sensed Mitsuie so he took a fight with just as I mentioned in chapter one.
Kentaro was only able to sense the presence of three chip user because Haruka chip is not activated fully because of his memory loss.
Next he send his general to take care of 2 chip users and went back to sleep knowing that general will be able to kill this 2 kids but the old man interrupted and helped this kids.
At 1 am the old man completed telling the past incident
CHAPTER 7
The old man dashed towards Kentaro with his sword pointing towards his heart and asked Kitsura to give command there. Kentaro moved a bit in left when old man tried to it his heart. Kentaro moved was so smooth that the old man end up striking the wall behind him. Kentaro kicked the ass of the old man as a result the old man broke the wall due to the force.
“You guys should find the underground place” Kitsura asked Erza and Haruka but Haruka started to run towards Exit because he was afraid to fight, however Erza punched Haruka’s head and dragged him to find the underground place.
“Not so fast” said by the strange man and rushed towards Erza to kill her but Mitsuie stopped him by using his sword and they both started fighting
Meanwhile Kitsura started to fight against thousands of soldiers by using his my eye gadget that his father passed on him while traveling in the vehicle this new device will help Kitsura to see things a bit earlier so he can strike according to it.
“I think I found it Erza,” said by Haruka
Haruka found a door. Which started to open when he got near it, they entered the room and saw a golden sword and pink sword
The golden word and the pink sword came into haruka’s hand and Erza’s hand respectively
Haruka felt a chillness while holding it suddenly he heard a voice in his head
Saying Hi Haruka, this is your father Yoichiro talking. I know that I have not spend my most of the time with you and even I left the Earth in your hands but I didn’t have much choice so I decided to help you by giving my sword which will help you to access half of my power and your mother decided to give her power to Erza. I was able to speak and give my power to you because of your mother’s power. Which will make object to move and do things that are asked by the owner. Here after my power of lighting will be yours. “I can’t handle anymore make it fast Yoichiro” said by Haruko. Haruka you have the power of dark energy and lighting, which will help you to defeat Kentaro only thing you should have now is courage but don’t worry I know that my son will be able to attain it and Haruka take care of your airhead brother.
With that being said, Haruka can access the lighting power, however he cannot unlock his power. Haruka was shocked to know that his father fought Kentaro with half of his power and he was also able to put a barrier to able
the people. Erza was also shocked because she too heard the voice of Yoichiro
After this, they both entered the main fighting area but they lost the sprit when they saw the situation in that area.
CHAPTER 8
Haruka and Erza were shocked to see the fighting results.
“Wait is that Mitsuie” Haruka asked to Erza , He asked like that because he can’t identify his brother head which was covered by full of blood it changed his hair color from green to red.
However, Erza did not hear him because she was so focused on Kitsura because Kitsura did not have any motion, leaned forward on the floor, and have his blood covered in the floor. She rushed towards him to check him.
However, the strange man stopped her and attacked her by using his sword, Erza was able to stop the attack but she cannot handle the force that was exerted by him so she lost her momentum and end up getting back to her original place by jumping from there.
“It’s been a while sister” said by the strange man
Erza was shocked to know she had a brother, but she did’t have the luxury to think about that because the strange man used his dark power to attack her from the distance.
Erza used her mother power to call the object near to defend the attack but she was not able to withstand the dark power and end up losing the energy to hold the object. The dark energy got so near her however Kitsura predicted this before using his eye power so he got in between them and end up getting hurt.
“Now it’s up to you” said by Kitsura and he fell forward Meanwhile Haruka gone near Mitsuie to check is condition
“Don’t worry about me Haruka, please check the old man. He is in next room” said by Mitsuie
Haruka gone into to next room
“Oh… old man see who came it’s your pupil. Ah sorry man I forgot that you can’t speak,” said by kentaro speaking with the head of the old man
Haruka got a panic attack and kneeled down, his eyes and head gone crazy that he cannot handle them so he kept his hand in his head and brought his head to the floor and cried out.
Haruka reacted like this because this is the first time him seeing the death of his comrade in his eyes.
“Your name Haruka right, this old man said that you will defeat me but how” he asked Haruka
Haruka released his dark energy and lighting energy beyond the limit that his hair got straight and eyes sprinkled the lightning. Kendora did not have the time to dodge it so he tried to slice the attack by his dark energy but the opposite power was too overpowered that his hand was sliced.
“Shit…. Are you the son of Yoichiro” Kentaro asked
Haruka but he did not replied to it. He started his next attack by rushing towards him with two sword representing two power Kentaro jumped above using his dark energy in the floor to jump and landed a sphere like
power from the above, Haruka was just madly attacking so he did’t see above to notice the attack. Mitsuie crossed between them and sliced the power, however a slight part of sliced sphere attacked haruka’s head, Mitsuie used his power to heal him and asked Haruka to defeat him Mitsuie headed towards Kitsura to heal him and help Erza
Erza is having an intense battle with Kentaro’s son, who uses dark energy to fight. Both of them had injuries in their body but they continued to battle, Erza rushed towards him manipulating the floor and in other hand using her fight dance with both of them and Mitsuie green splash attack the defeated the Kentaro’s son
“The arrogant of having a rare power made you to loss this battle,” said by the Erza
“Do you know that, the power that Haruka’s mother had was rarer than the dark energy that only one in the century will have it” said by Erza. With that being said, she left the place to check Haruka’s battle for her surprise Haruka was covered in blood with Kentaro’s head in his lap sitting in the throne. Erza was terrified to see haruka’s anger but at the same time, she was happy about the result
Haruka used a dark shadow technique to fool Kentaro and pierced his heart from the back
“What is this technique?” Kentaro asked Haruka
“This technique is developed by my father, You guys underestimated the power of other hair users as a result you are going to die but let me tell you something, my dad fought with you toe to toe by just using his half power and I defeated you by using 2X power. In my opinion both my mother and father are powerful than you guys in both heart and physical” with that being said Haruka sliced Kentaro’s head as a revenge to Old man.
After this incident Haruka and his team developed the country with help of Kitsura’s science and created a country with democracy
Kitsura married Erza and started living the life in developing country’s science and Mitsuie leaded the life by being a play boy and master in teaching swordplay, however our Hero Haruka started being himself and contributed to the country by being a coward president.
