On 21 February 2024, the previously announced Crayon Shin-Chan’s Movie 32 (also the 31st 2D animated film) “Crayon Shin-Chan Movie 32: Our Dinosaur Story” (Japanese Name: Crayon Shin-chan Movie 32 Ora-tachi no Kyoryu Nikki) released a brand new main trailer for this movie and a short “Power” promotional teaser. It is also confirmed that this film will hit Japanese Cinemas on August 9, 2024.
Crayon Shin-Chan is based on the original manga by Yoshito Usui.

This trailer features Shin-Chan and his friends aka. Kasukabe Defense Force enjoying their tour of Dino Park along with Ai-chan. Dino Park is a theme park with many dinosaurs. It also features the memories of Shiro meeting the baby Dinosaur named “Nana” under the bridge. This trailer features the cute moments of Shin-chan and his friends with Nana in the first half and the second half features the Dinosaur invasion in Kasukabe city.

Furthermore, it is revealed that advance tickets with special benefits will be sold for a limited time at theaters in Japan from March 1st, 2024. As a bonus, there was a “Dinosaur Shin-chan Capsule Charm” with plates of Shiro and Shin-Chan dressed as dinosaurs inside the capsule.

Crayon Shin-chan (Japanese name: Kureyon Shin-chan), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. It made its first appearance in 1990 in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which was published by Futabasha. Due to the sudden death of author Yoshito Usui, the manga in its original form ended on September 11, 2009. A new manga began in the summer of 2010 and was created by members of Usui’s team.
This manga later got an anime adaptation which began airing on TV Asahi in 1992 and is still ongoing on several television networks worldwide and has over 1000 episodes. The show has been dubbed in 30 languages which aired in 45 countries.
This anime franchise has a total of 32 movies and Movie 31 was the first ever 3DCG Shin-chan movie titled “Crayon Shin-chan Movie 31: Chounouryoku Daikessen – Tobe Tobe Temakizushi” which is also the highest grossing shin-chan movie till now. Shin-Chan’s new 32nd movie (also the 31st 2D anime movie) “Crayon Shin-chan Movie 32: Ora-tachi no Kyoryu Nikki” (Crayon Shin-Chan Movie 32: Our Dinosaur Story) is scheduled for August 9, 2024.
