The year 2025 has been very diverse for anime. 2025 was another year filled with countless anime titles, from TV series and feature films to streaming originals. As the year is coming to an end, just like every year, the japanese news outlet Anime! Anime! has revealed the list for “The Most Popular Female Voice Actresses Of 2025 According To Japanese Fans“
Participants were asked to vote/identify the voice actresses who left a lasting impression on them, whether through their roles in various anime or their appearances in other forms of entertainment. The criteria ranged from the most active and impactful voice actress of the year to the one fans found themselves recommending the most.
The survey was conducted separately by Anime! Anime! for male and female voters, with responses collected from over 3,000 people between November 15th and December 17th. The gender distribution was approximately 30% male and 70% female with around 25% under 19, around 30% in their 20s, and around 15 percent each were in their 30s and 40s.
