Previously Announced The TV Anime remake of the classic Action-Comedy manga “Ranma ½” (Synonym: Ranma 1/2) by Takahashi Rumiko released so much information. Firstly, the official X account shared a new key visual and the official YouTube channel of studio MAPPA released the brand new trailer:
As from the YouTube channel, it got cleared that Studio MAPPA will animate this remake of Ranma ½. It is also announced that this anime will be released on 5 October 2024 on Nippon Television Network. And this anime will be exclusively streaming on Netflix immediately after the broadcast!

About Ranma ½
Ranma ½ (Synonym: Ranma 1/2) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Takahashi Rumiko. It was serialized from August 1987 to March 1996 in Shogakukan‘s Weekly Shounen Sunday. This manga has a total of 38 Volumes.
Later this manga received an anime series adaptation by Studio Deen. They produced 2 anime series of this manga “Ranma ½ and Ranma ½ Nettohen” which aired from 1989 to 1992. They also produced 12 OVAs and 3 films of this anime adaptation. In June 2024, it was announced that this manga is getting a brand new anime adaptation produced by Studio MAPPA and will be released on 5 October 2024.

“Years ago, Genma promised his old friend Soun Tendo that Ranma would marry one of Soun’s three daughters and carry on the family’s martial arts school.
