The official X account of the TV anime “Shangri-La Frontier” (Japanese Name: Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su, Synonyms: ShanFro) which is based on the Web Novel by Katarina revealed a brand new trailer for its upcoming season 2. They also revealed the Theme song artists for this anime. As previously announced, Season 2 will be broadcast on 13 October 2024. The official YouTube channel of this anime released the new trailer for its second season:
The new trailer features the new characters, Akane Akitsu and a mysterious character who will be appearing in this second season. This trailer also features the Opening theme song “QUEEN” which is performed by LiSA. The official website of this anime also announced that the ending theme song “Dancer in the Dark Night” will be performed by otoha.

Shangri-La Frontier” (Japanese Name: Shangri-La Frontier: Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su, Synonyms: ShanFro) is a Japanese web novel series written by Katrina. Katarina released this novel on the Shosetsu-ka ni Naro (Let’s Be Novelists) website in May 2017. Katarina also wrote an additional novel series in Weekly Shounen Magazine.
This manga later got the manga adaptation illustrated by Fuji Ryousuke titled Shangri-La Frontier ~Kusoge Hunter, Kamige ni Idoman to su~ (Shangri-La Frontier ~ Crappy Game Hunter Challenges God-Tier Game) in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in July 2020.
Kodansha Comics publishes the manga version of this Novel and describes the story as:
