Just In From Anime Japan 2025, the TV Anime “Oshi no Ko” (English name: My Star) anime based on the original manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari released a new key visual and video. Animation Studio Doga Kobo animated both seasons 1 and 2 of this adaptation and they will be back for animating this 3rd season of this anime. Oshi no Ko Season 2 was released on July 3, 2024. The ending theme song “Burning” was performed by Hitsuji Bungaku and the opening theme “Fatale” was performed by GEMN.
About Oshi no Ko
Oshi no Ko is a Japanese Manga written by Aka Akasaka and Illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. They launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is releasing the manga in English digitally.
This manga received an anime adaptation in April 2024 produced by Doga Kobo. Season 2 of this anime series was released in July 2024. Season 3 of this anime series is announced for 2026. This manga also has a live-action film and a live-action drama—the live-action drama was premiered on Prime Video on November 28, 2024 and its Live Action Movie was also released on December 20, 2024.
