On 12th October 2024, the finale episode of My Hero Academia Season 7 aired. After the completion of Season 7, the official X Account of the TV anime My Hero Academia (Japanese Name: Boku no hero Academia) anime announced that the next Season 8th of My Hero Academia would be its Final Season. My Hero Academia Final Season will air in 2025. The official X account shared the announcement Visual and the official YouTube account of Toho Animation released the announcement trailer:

Character Designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi drew the announcement key visual for this final Season. It is also revealed that Animation Studio Bones will be back to animate the final season of this franchise.

About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia (Japanese Name: Boku no hero Academia) is a Japanese Action Manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. This manga was first serialized in July 2014 in Shueisha’s Shounen Manga magazine, Weekly Shounen Jump. It was serialized for 10 Years and finally ended on 5 August 2024. This manga has a total of 41 Volumes.

The anime adaptation of this manga by Studio Bones has also been aired since 2016 and is still ongoing. This anime adaptation has released 7 Seasons and 4 Movies. The 8th Season, which is also the Final Season of this anime franchise is announced for 2025. Recently on 2 August 2024, the 4th Movie of this franchise My Hero Academia The Movie 4: You’re Next was released in Japanese Cinemas.

Mankind has developed superpowers known as “Quirks” with 80% of the population having some kind of superpower. These new abilities see the rise of both superheroes and villains.
